[Currently Listening To]
New segment time: introducing the "Currently Listening To" post! (You better believe this is going to become a regular feature after I wasted time creating the opening pic!)
Here I (you/we/yo cat) post a song that is, at this very moment, consuming your very soul. It could be an old or new song, but it can only be ONE song, and you have to give a reason as to why you iz likin' it! Simple, right?

[Review/ Watch] Taylor Swift Performs "Shake It Off" @ 2014 VMAs
Taylor Swift kept it cute for the first rendition of Shake It Off, which took place at the 2014 VMAs.
For the most part her voice sounded good, though she did falter on the top note and have some powerful backing vocals going on. Still, her time on stage contained humor (let's hope the Barbz take it in good jest and don't resort to dragging her), eye-catching choreography (from the male dancers) and managed to use the unusual stage in a great way.
[Watch/Review] Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj and Jessie J Open 2014 VMAs
Opening the 2014 VMA's was a trio of lovely Divas.
First out on stage was Ariana Grande, who arrived in a UFO to perform new single Break Free. It was a noticeably less nasal (than usual) vocal from the Diva, and change was also seen in her confidence levels, which seem to have grown. Though a little out of breath at some points, I can't deny Ariana delivered the goods on the night, opening the VMAs the right!
Following her came rapper Nicki Minaj, who delivered exactly no surprises with her performance of latest, Vevo record-breaking, hit Anaconda. Much like the video, Nicki served up bootay. It wasn't something the "celebrity" crowd the camera panned to (The Kardashian Klan/ Rita Ora) looked unimpressed with, but the audience seemed to go wild for it.

[Free For All Friday]
Mariah Carey and her man child of a husband, Nick Cannon, have split. Love is officially dead.On a happier note, Christina Aguilera gave birth to a daughter this week, so congratulations to her.
If you don't know the score, here be the rules:
- Try not to get too perverted- this site needs to basically be "safe for work".
- If somebody starts a controversial subject, try keeping it civil when dealing with it. If things get out of hand please flag the conversation.
- It would be nice if it stuck to music, but it's not a requirement! So talk about news, current events, how you're getting your hair done next time you hit the hairdresser! Whateves, really!
- No nasty comments aimed at other users.
