Damn Miley! Going back from (C)unt to Country I see? Not exactly... We'll get to that in a minute... How is Malibu? Great! Sultry vocals, an indie/alternative flare and very, very good lyrics? The song just made me feel good... But, in my Big Freedia voice, "What happened... In that Billboard interview?"

[Rant] Christina Aguilera Performs Lotus Medley @2012 AMAs

The post and performance from the 2012 American Music Awards I'm sure most of you were looking forward to: Christina Aguilera! God help us.

There is one thing I need to quickly say about her-it's a realisation I came to yesterday unexpectedly- and it's that she is the most consistently bad vocalist I think I have ever had the pleasure of being a fan of. If it wasn't for her recording voice, I'm pretty sure I would have jettisoned her from my affections  a long time ago. Anyway, back to the performance.

[Rant] Mariah Carey And Jermaine Dupri Working Together Again. Yawn!

Am I the only one slightly disheartened by the photos of Mariah Carey back in the studio with Jermaine Dupri? Yes, any new music from the star is a blessing- I’m am literally palpitating at the thought of it- but I feel since the stellar success of We Belong Together,  the pair have been stuck chasing past glories with song after song of similar sounding material:

Rant: Jennifer Lopez "Dance Again"

I am not even going to call this a review, because Jennifer Lopez's new single, Dance Again , is so AWFUL it doesn't merit my time analysing it. Instead I'll offer a few suggestions to those who had a hand in its creation: The singer, the producer, and the rapper.
