Demi Lovato shows studio growth in new single You Don't Do it For Me Anymore".The slow R&B ballad, with its gospel influenced vocals, is reminiscent in production to that of Dangerous Woman by Ms. Grande. But who cares, vocally it's better.
Demi gave good dynamics! Demi gave solid head voice! Demi gave precise runs! Demi gave sizeable sounding belts! The girl's vocals had drama and conviction. Her vibrato didn't sound like a pelican burping, either!
I don't know what's changed, I never used to feel it when Demi sang R&B style songs. But I think she's found the right sized pumps in her closet because I dare say this is her best effort in a long while.
