Taylor Swift kept it cute for the first rendition of Shake It Off, which took place at the 2014 VMAs.
For the most part her voice sounded good, though she did falter on the top note and have some powerful backing vocals going on. Still, her time on stage contained humor (let's hope the Barbz take it in good jest and don't resort to dragging her), eye-catching choreography (from the male dancers) and managed to use the unusual stage in a great way.
I'm still not sold on the song, but Team Taylor put on an entertaining enough show to keep me watching the performance nonetheless. I'd say that constitutes a win for the Diva.
Thoughts?
