Seriously, who does not like Pink? And, if you don't like her music, is it even humanly possible to deny the talent of this woman? Even when she sings Try without her dance buddy Colt Prattes (I'm guessing many will thank me for that link), and their incredible accompanying routine [this one], she still manages to be just as mesmerising!
Check out Pink's pitch perfect performance of Try live on Graham Norton, below.
She was perfect!!
ReplyDeleteI loved this performance. Aside from sounding good, I loved her whole stage presence and real interaction with the band.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely count me amongst those who love P!nk. Especially after seeing her funhouse tour dvd..Awesome!!!
Thanks for reviewing this DD :-)
Wow, just wow. *__*
ReplyDeleteCheck out this performance as well!

Is there something this woman can't do?!
ReplyDeleteWoah, this is just mind blowing. They are both so amazing, and for her to sing so good with that choreography is just great. One of the best performers in today's music. Really love her.
ReplyDeletePink is a legend in my book, not once have I witnessed her give a below par performance. Not only that she writes what is relevant to her, not what is needed to hit number one or be your typical fame whore...I will mention no names but diva's you know who you are...

Fab video! Loving it!
ReplyDeleteJust awesome! I thought the music was too loud, especially during the chorus yet she managed to sound great!
ReplyDeleteI appreciate Pink as a performer, if nothing else. I think she limits herself musically though, even though she has shown that she can be versatile. I keep waiting for the day where pink returns to a more R&B influenced sound even if it's just for one track, although I know deep down it's not gonna happen.
ReplyDeleteLoL that sounds contradictory. That's the ''problem'' though with actual artists...they follow their own path and us admirers can but hope it's a path we can folllow along. :-)
ReplyDeleteSorry guys, looks like that video isn't up anymore. :-(
ReplyDeleteI saw that concert first hand! LOVED IT...as a result, i'm going to see her again this year!
ReplyDeleteNow she is worth paying the money to go and see! Never again will I part with more than fifty pounds to go and see someone act like they are on heat whilst creaking through an autotuned mic! I wont mention who that someone is although you can probably take a wild guess!
ReplyDeletePink on the other hand rocks the live pitch perfect vocals but also works her ass off entertaining and thrilling her fans live! Lucky sod, cant you smuggle me in with you?
I always read your posts and I forget to respond to them. I'm not ignoring you opie, I promise! haha I didn't mean to imply that I wished for her to compromise her artistic integrity. She has released R&B influenced songs even after she began to take more artistic control over her career ( Family Portrait, Catch Me While I'm Sleeping). In my opinion, I think she's been releasing "more of the same" since I'm not dead. I would like to see her take some risks.
ReplyDeleteSo...it's not so much me being ignored, I just am forgettable? Well thank you ever so much! ;-D
ReplyDeleteBut seriously Mel, the thought had not crossed my mind.:-)
Anyway, I get what you are saying, just sounded superficially like a contradiction to wish for a return to a previous style and not limiting herself at the same time.
Ahh! Not at all! I think we all know you're one of the most memorable people here haha. One of the reasons I visit this site is to see you effortlessly regulate and shut down stans haha.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mel. Always nice to see a little fishing being rewarded.;-)
ReplyDeleteGlad you are enjoying my efforts. I try to deal with them in a manner entertaining to at least some readers. :-)
