[Watch] Mariah Carey Plays In 2013 With Live Concert In Austrailia

What better way to start the new year with than some live Mariah Carey. Putting on a show for our Australian cousins, the Diva with the five-octave range helped to make the turn of the year one to remember for those lucky enough to have joined her at the sold out venue where she performed on Tuesday.

Sounding vocally fresh, Mariah took the 4,500 strong crowd at the Gold Coast Convention Centre through a whistle-stop tour of her catalogue of hits. From massive sellers like Emotions and We Belong Together, to fan favourites like Close My Eyes and Butterfly, Mariah looked comfortable and happy spending New Years with her adoring "Lambily".

The highlight of the evening had to be the impromptu song Mariah sang as the technicians tried to fix the sound issues she was suffering. It showcased just how strong her voice still is- especially in the lower part of her belting range- as well as the kooky personality we have all come to love and expect from her.

Check out the videos (I could find) from the concert below. Will add more as they surface! (Can't wait to see her singing Butterfly)
