Simply "Cheryl" has ratcheted up the visuals in the accompanying video for new single, Call My Name, in the hope it’ll get us to spend our hard earned- insert relevant currency- on her comeback. Well, I suppose she has to now as she’s hasn't got that easy X-Factor money to fall back on.
But to be fair, no one can call Cheryl a slacker when it comes to her promos. Very much aware of her own strengths- which have always been more visual than audible- Cheryl has embraced them fully here and turned out perhaps her best video to date. Or at least a close second to Parachute.
Looking as STUNNING as ever, Cheryl continues to push the envelope when it comes to her dancing; attacking the masculine choreography with incredible vigour and get go. It's a little 90's/MC Hammer if I were to be picky, but it seems to be a style that is becoming somewhat her trademark, along with those harem pants she continues to rock like she doesn’t know any better.
If the dancing doesn’t do it for you, there’s plenty of other gorgeous scenes to enjoy: like the two Cheryl’s for the price of one mirror scene, where she oddly looks like Kim Kardhashian in the reflection: the fashiony, editorial posing in the tunnel; or, for all you structural engineers, Cheryl showing a bridge and its girders some love.

Cheryl really pulled it out the bag this time, and the video for Call My Name is definitely up there with the best music visuals of the year! It may have even swayed my opinion of Call My Name altogether.
