Listen to Mariah Carey's ENTIRE 5 octave range, Note by note. Haters doubt it no more!

Now there is no other way to sum up this video other than EPIC! I have wondered, since practically forever, why no one has ever created a video displaying all of Mariah Carey's 5 octave range, note by note. So intrigued was I, that I even contemplating doing it myself, but was just too darn lazy. It seems such a mammoth task was no bother for heroic Youtuber MCLAMB4LIFE1, who created just such a video.

Listen to Mariah Carey's entire glourious range, right from the low E2 up to the ear splitting G#7 below. That's 65 notes! See how much of the video you can sing along to before your vocal chord explodes!

"Often Imitated, Never Duplicated"

Thanks to MCLAMB4LIFE1 for doing this. Please visit the Youtube page and like the video.

  1. For a male like me who loves to sing, I always admire MC for her whistle register and her love songs~ She's my inspiration why I learn to access my whistle register (even though I'm not really good to control it) Love you Mariah!

many people can blow a whistle, but no one, I say, NO ONE can do it like Mariah. She one of few who can speak using the whistle note.

  6. Very impressive - though wish the very low ones were more audible...can she really hit a true E2? For me I think that's more impressive than the whistle notes!

  7. Totally agree with you, I've always found her lows more impressive than her highs.

  8. Mariah's superb control of her voice never faltered to amaze me. When she shifts from one tone to another, it's a wow moment! The quality of her voice, its inflections ands dual timbre--- AMAZING!

But then, in recent years, she lost a lot of volume on her voice. The once whole vibrato has now the frequent tendency to squeak when it hits the middle range. Its proof is the collection of songs from Charmbracelet to Merry Christmas II You.

    Question:
Can Mariah still regain some quality when given proper vocal rehab?

  10.  I think Mariah's voice isn't down to her not knowing good technique- hence why I don't think singing rehab would help that much. I think her voice is suffering from age related problems, her nodules perhaps becoming for inflamed, and her lifestyle. Don't get me wrong, I think she could improve her voice but I think it would be to the detriment of the way she lives her life, ie less talking, less alcohol, less air travel.

beyonce will never have the control and power mariah does and xtina has horrible technique
