Adele vs Britney Spears: "Rolling Till The World Ends" (Mash-up)

Not more than half an hour ago I responded to a comment regarding a concern over Adele's longevity in the context of a perceived lack of versatility in her vocal styling.

Well almost as if to directly answer this quandary Jarod Ripley has released a mash-up, consisting of the backing track from Britney Spears' new uptempo, electro-pop, single Till the world ends and Adele's vocals from Rolling in the deep, that goes some way to seeing how versatile her voice truly is.

Is Adele's voice restricted to the soul music she makes? I think you'll find, after listening to this, it's emphatically not.

  9. Actually this shows that her voice is indeed not very versatil for uptempo songs, she didn't sound really well. For this kind of songs she would need a higher tone and a completly different actitude.

  10. people are just never ok with stuff.. they always have to compare, criticize, just becuz adele has her own style n its not like overrated auto tuned Britney... -_-

  11. I pick one of them. My bet is Miss Adele for her soulful yet passionate voice. I hate Britney's style of singing because she's lip-syncing!

  12. Proves she is NOT versatile! AT ALL!

  13. Mariah is a lip syncer, but she's still considered one of the best singers.

  14. Maybe you should decrease the tempo.. It's not fair to mix 2 song with different tempo, and make the background music as the main tempo.. Her vibrato sounds shaking..

  16. are you kidding me? . mariah lip singing  started in the 2000's not enough reat made her voice  weak . but in the 90's nobody could touch that bitch . not even Britney at her finest cannot be compare to mariah at her weakest ..Britney was never a voice prodigy she was a good singer when younger ( age 9-11) but even in the 90 and her teenager year she is the most shittest singer in the music industry  . she is not a artist she is a endorsement even rihanna sound better .

  17.  Mariah lip-synced from 1996 (lipped some performance of fantasy )  and dubbed a lot of her early performances until now. But she was in a class of her own during her prime years.

  18. This is a weird combination and they are in two different classes vocalist and entertainer can Britney sing like Adele ..no, once perhaps, can Adele perform and entertain like Britney...not a chance. There is no comparison and at the end of the day I would rather see a show then see Adele stand there and sing.

  19. You hate Britney's singing style because she is lipsyncing? I'm trying to find the logic here but I can't. You don't even have to watch the live performances to like an artist. She doesn't lipsync in her albums (that's just impossible anyway). Just say you don't like her voice.
