| Adele performing Someone like you on Later with Jools Holland |
Adele gives us all an early Christmas present by premièring another song from her as yet unreleased album 21, entitled Someone Like You.
Someone Like you is a beautifully simple, piano led ballad that allows Adele and her soulful voice to take centre stage. Jools Holland sums the song up perfectly; "I trust you the listeners, will agree with me when I say, Simplicity of a voice, beautiful piano and a beautiful song."
Adele will continue to amaze me when she performs. Her vocal range and acrobatics is comfortably easy to listen to and love. Unlike other performers. She has a soulful touch that just seems to punch when needed. I loved the first album of hers and I am sure this album will be greater. She is picking up the torch in a time where we don't have many great soulful singers with real range.
